Job Summary
Framfield Church of England Primary School is hiring a part‑time Teaching Assistant (TA) and Mid‑Day Supervisor (MDSA) for the term‑time schedule.
Hours and Working Pattern
15 hours as a TA and 5 hours as MDSA, part‑time, term‑time only (39 weeks per year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave, increasing after 5 years’ continuous service). Salary is pro‑rata to full‑time pay.
Responsibilities
- Support teachers across the school.
- Work with small groups or individuals.
- Assist the Mid‑Day Supervisor during the post‑school session.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 1 or above as a Teaching Assistant (or equivalent), or prior experience working with children.
Other Information
The role is covered by the Childcare Disqualification Regulations 2018. Applicants must declare that they have not been disqualified under these regulations. If a candidate is found to be disqualified, the offer is contingent upon a waiver from Ofsted.
