Commercial Coordinator

  • Location: Bilston
  • Hours: Mon-Thu 9am-5pm, Fri 9am-4:30pm (35 hours per week)
  • Contract: Full-time, Permanent
  • Salary: £35,000 – £38k

Day-to-Day of the Role:

  • Carry out a range of commercial administrative tasks, including data creation and management using ERP and CRM systems.
  • Provide hands-on support with business tenders, proposals, contract expansions, and pricing reviews.
  • Assist the Commercial Team in nurturing existing client relationships and supporting new business acquisition.
  • Handle commercial enquiries, arrange client meetings, and assist with query resolution.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge, including features, specifications, and commercial data, ensuring a smooth and professional client experience.
  • Conduct ongoing market research to monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Support client aftercare, ensuring outstanding service delivery following meetings, proposals, or interactions.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows when required.
  • Provide constructive feedback and contribute to service improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office and experience with ERP/CRM systems.
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High attention to detail and strong accuracy standards.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work to deadlines.
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of business processes.
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
  • Minimum Level 2/3 in Business Administration (or equivalent).
  • At least five years’ experience in a similar commercial or administrative role.
