Maintenance Technician
Location: Pitreavie, Cumbernauld
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday (Day & night shifts)
Salary: Competitive, dependant on experience

What we are looking for
We have an exciting opportunity for versatile and proactive multiskilled Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations. This role requires a broad range of technical skills including mechanical and electrical to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve production equipment and processes. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on problem solver with a passion for keeping things running efficiently.
Shift times: Days: 07:00 – 15:30 Monday – Friday; Nights: 21:00 – 07:00 Monday – Thursday
Key Role Accountabilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a range of production equipment and machinery
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults
- Support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure safe and effective operation of machinery in line with health and safety regulations.
- Work collaboratively with production and other departments to minimise downtime
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Time-served engineer with relevant NVQ Level 3 / HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Proven experience in a similar multi-skilled engineering role within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of both electrical and mechanical systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Good understanding of health & safety practices
