THE ROLE
As a Product Data Analyst you will be embedded within a product team, acting as a key partner to Product Managers, Engineers, and Designers.
Specifically, you can expect to be involved in the following:
- Partner with product teams to define metrics, track performance, and shape product decisions.
- Translate business questions into structured analytical frameworks and actionable insights.
- Design and run A/B tests and experiments from hypothesis through to recommendation.
- Establish and promote best practice in experimentation and test and learn methodologies.
- Define and maintain key product metrics, including north star and supporting KPIs.
- Build dashboards and self-serve analytics tools to empower stakeholders.
- Communicate complex insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Contribute to a strong data culture through documentation, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The successful Product Data Analyst will have the following skills and experience:
- Strong commercial experience in product analytics within a digital or product-led environment.
- Advanced SQL skills with the ability to work with large, complex datasets.
- Hands-on experience designing and analysing experiments with a solid understanding of statistics.
- Experience influencing product decisions through clear, insight-led recommendations.
- Proficiency with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, Lightdash or similar.
- Strong understanding of product analytics concepts including funnels, retention, cohorts, and user journeys.
- Ability to work in ambiguous environments and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Curiosity to understand user behaviour and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
BENEFITS
The successful Product Data Analyst will receive the following benefits:
- Salary between £70,000 – £90,000 – depending on experience
