About the Roles Both positions work 4 days per week across 9-hour shifts, averaging 39 hours per week, with a 1 in 4 weekend rota and dedicated admin time built into every shift. Head Vet — From £75,000 DOE This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon ready to take full clinical ownership of a new practice. Alongside your own clinical work, you’ll lead and inspire the team, set and uphold clinical governance standards, and play a central role in shaping the culture and direction of the surgery from day one. Veterinary Surgeon — £50,000–£70,000 DOE This is a brilliant opportunity for a confident GP vet with 3 years of experience who wants to be more than just another team member. You’ll deliver high-quality first-opinion care, support and mentor the nursing team, and genuinely influence how the practice runs and how care is delivered. What They’re Looking For For both roles, they are looking for vets who are passionate about clinical excellence, collaborative by nature, and genuinely excited by the prospect of building something new.
