Are you an experienced Health & Safety professional looking for a hands‑on role within a busy leisure and hospitality environment?
Our client, a successful and growing tourism business, is seeking a proactive Health & Safety Manager to help maintain high standards of safety, compliance and operational excellence across a large, multi‑department site.
Working closely with senior leaders and operational teams, you’ll be responsible for audits, inspections, compliance monitoring, incident investigations and promoting a positive safety culture throughout the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular health & safety inspections and audits
- Support incident reporting and investigations
- Monitor compliance actions and ensure timely completion
- Assist with risk assessments and safe systems of work
- Support managers with health & safety guidance and training
- Maintain accurate compliance records and reports
- Promote safe working practices across all departments
About You
- Previous experience in Health & Safety, compliance, facilities or operations
- Strong understanding of workplace safety and risk management
- Confident carrying out audits, inspections and investigations
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Proactive, detail-oriented and able to influence others positively
Desirable
- IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH qualification
- Experience within hospitality, leisure, tourism or visitor attractions
- Knowledge of COSHH, fire safety, contractor management and accident reporting
