We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our team at Chichester College. As a Maths Teacher, you will play a vital role in inspiring and guiding 16‑19 year old students, many of whom are studying STEM, technical and hospitality programmes, alongside their GCSE Maths qualification.
Your expertise and enthusiasm will equip students with the mathematical skills and knowledge needed to succeed in GCSE Maths, while helping them understand how maths applies to real‑world, vocational and workplace contexts such as problem‑solving, measurements, data handling and budgeting.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Design and deliver engaging and innovative lessons that cater to diverse learners and promote high attainment.
• Assess, monitor, and support individual student progress, using formative and summative assessment to inform teaching.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the college to enhance teaching practice and curriculum development.
Qualifications
• Relevant subject experience in mathematics.
• Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in a related subject.
• A commitment to professional learning and continuous improvement.
We offer a fully funded Level 5 Learning and Skills Teacher Apprenticeship for those looking to become qualified teachers, as well as other alternative pathways.
