Job Summary
We are looking for a committed individual with a specialist interest in nuclear medicine to help lead and develop the nuclear medicine department together with our incumbent nuclear medicine physician. The post holder must cover a full range of nuclear medicine imaging and have an ARSAC licence or be in a position to apply for an ARSAC licence on being appointed to the consultant post.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the nuclear medicine department.
- Cover a full range of nuclear medicine imaging for both adult and paediatric cases, including subspecialty oncology nuclear medicine and cardiac scans.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of a new digital PETCT scanner by Alliance on the BRI site.
Qualifications
- ARSAC licence or ability to apply for one upon appointment.
- Specialist interest in nuclear medicine.
- Experience in adult and paediatric nuclear medicine imaging and subspecialty oncology nuclear medicine.
- Additional subspecialty interest in oncology, whole-body MRI or gynecological imaging welcomed but not essential.
