Nursery Room Leader Apprenticeship – Liverpool
Little Foxes are looking for a new Baby Room Leader Apprentice. You will be studying toward your Early Years Lead Practitioner apprenticeship L5.
About the Role
As a Baby Room Leader, you are responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for babies (typically 0–2 years). You’re not just caring for children – you’re leading the room and shaping their earliest development.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the daily running of the baby room, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 0–2 years
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote early development, including sensory play, communication, and physical development
- Observe, assess, and record children’s progress, using this information to support their individual learning and development needs
- Ensure all safeguarding, health, and safety policies are followed, maintaining the highest standards of care and compliance
- Support and guide other staff within the room, acting as a role model and helping maintain consistent, high-quality practice
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers, providing regular updates on their child’s development and wellbeing
- Take part in training and coursework for the EYLP Level 5 apprenticeship, applying learning directly into practice
- Maintain a clean, organised, and engaging environment, ensuring resources are suitable and accessible for babies
Qualifications
- Currently studying or enrolled in the Early Years Lead Practitioner Level 5 apprenticeship (EYLP L5)
