Multi Trade Operative (Experienced Carpenter)

My client requires skilled and professional multi‑trade operatives to assist in delivering high‑quality, cost‑effective property repairs and refurbishments, estate services, gas servicing and installation, and maintenance services across the UK to both internal and external clients.

We are looking for an experienced Carpenter/Joiner with a minimum NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry/Joinery who lives close to Liverpool and owns a vehicle. The role will primarily focus on void properties, but multi‑trade experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out construction, fault fixing and maintenance duties in accordance with contract and service specifications.
• Provide accurate and timely information on progress, including advice that is easily understood by customers, and ensure accurate daily work records are completed.
• Respond positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations in accordance with contract and service specifications.
• Resolve problems or set in motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed in line with agreed processes and within contract and service specifications.
• Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and stocks are replenished as needed, in accordance with the agreed requisition procedures and budgets.
• Contribute, as appropriate, to special projects and change programmes in support of the Group’s objectives.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry/Joinery
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Own vehicle
• Ideally, social housing maintenance experience
• Minimise indisputable perseverance (INDPS) is desirable

What’s on offer

• Pay rate: £20 per hour, paid weekly via Umbrella or CIS
• Hours: 40 hours per week (8am – 4:30pm)
• Duration: 3 months (potential for extension)
• Location: Liverpool
