Radiology Department Assistant

We are looking for a Radiology Assistant to help us build a healthier nation at our Derby Hospital.
Responsibilities
- Support patients undergoing investigations
- Work alongside Consultant Radiologists & Radiographers
- Assist with booking appointments and reception cover
- Be part of our wider Radiology team, supporting with clinical services as required
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 in a Health related subject is desirable (but not essential)
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting would be an advantage
- Good level of IT literacy necessary for administrative tasks
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Demonstrate compassion and understanding
- Be a team player

About Nuffield Health Derby Hospital
The Nuffield Health Derby Hospital is a modern, purpose-built hospital with 38 en-suite beds, three operating theatres, and a comprehensive range of outpatient services. The Radiology department is a small but busy department covering general radiographic procedures, theatre, ultrasound, MRI and CT. Set in beautiful grounds, we’re about 3 miles from the city centre, within easy reach of all major roads and bus routes.
