Personal Care Assistant – Driver, 30h/wk, Bristol

Care assistant £16/hr – Bristol – BS15

Personal Assistant required in BS15 area for 30 hours/week @ £14/ hour

Start date: ASAP

Working pattern: Monday to Friday between 10:00- 16:00.

Main Duties

• Personal Care.
• Administering medication and support attending medical appointments.
• Household tasks: some meal preparation, light cleaning, tidying, ironing and laundry.
• J enjoys swimming and has a membership at David Lloyd’s.
• J attends a drama therapy session once a week.
• J likes to go out for food and drinks.
• J also has an annual membership for Wake the Tiger and Slimbridge.

About You

• You will have good communication skills and will be able to understand non verbal prompts. J is very good at communicating his needs.
• Be patient, understanding and empathetic.
• Honest, reliable and punctual.
• Comfortable around dogs.
• A driving licence is essential as you will be required to drive J’s car.

This is an employed role and attracts the normal statutory rights attached.
