We’re hiring for Project Controls Directors for major £bn programmes currently in delivery. Senior leadership. Real scale. Career-defining.
Ordinarily, The best Project Controls Directors aren’t looking but this should peak your interest.
The Role
You’ll own the full controls function — scheduling, cost, data, risk, and reporting — across a complex, high-profile major programme. You’ll sit at board level, lead a high-performing team, and be the single point of accountability for controls performance from mobilisation through to delivery.
This isn’t a support role. You’ll be driving the agenda.
What We Need
- Director-level experience on major infrastructure (rail, nuclear, defence, aviation, water, or highways)
- Command of the full controls toolkit — P6, cost management, EVM, QSRA
- The credibility to lead, challenge, and align senior stakeholders
- Mobility — you’ll be on-site across key locations, at the heart of the action
