As Assistant Manager, you’ll work closely with the Manager and owner to oversee daily operations, lead our front‑of‑house team, and ensure every guest enjoys a memorable experience. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who thrives in a busy hospitality environment, enjoys leading by example, and has a genuine passion for food, wine, and customer service.
The Role
- Support the day-to-day running of the venue
- Lead, motivate, and develop the front‑of‑house team
- Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve guest issues professionally
- Manage shifts, opening and closing procedures
- Assist with staff training and performance management
- Help maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and compliance
- Support stock control, ordering, and cash handling procedures
- Drive sales through excellent product knowledge and upselling
- Ensure smooth service during busy periods
