Enhanced Teaching Assistant for Special Needs

The Durham County Council is looking for six Enhanced Teaching Assistants at Croft Community School to support pupils with moderate to severe learning difficulties and Autism Spectrum Conditions. The role includes planning, delivering, and evaluating learning activities, while promoting the independence and emotional wellbeing of students.

Successful candidates need to be experienced, proactive, and caring, with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs. The position offers term time work plus additional weeks’ pay based on years of service.
