Job Description:

Personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changes impacting care and care plans, ensuring that new needs are met, and writing records to reflect any variation.
  • Being involved in the person‑centred care planning process, implementing, monitoring and undertaking monthly evaluations.
  • Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
  • Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff development where required.
  • Acting as a key point of contact with residents, their relatives and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals, ensuring that reasonable requests are acted upon and complaints are escalated.

Qualifications & Experience

  • NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
  • At least 2 years experience working in a similar care environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
  • Responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.

Legal Requirements

  • DBS Disclosure check (cost covered by Avery Healthcare).
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
