Responsibilities
- Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changes impacting care and care plans, ensuring that new needs are met, and writing records to reflect any variation.
- Being involved in the person‑centred care planning process, implementing, monitoring and undertaking monthly evaluations.
- Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
- Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff development where required.
- Acting as a key point of contact with residents, their relatives and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals, ensuring that reasonable requests are acted upon and complaints are escalated.
Qualifications & Experience
- NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
- At least 2 years experience working in a similar care environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
- Responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
Legal Requirements
- DBS Disclosure check (cost covered by Avery Healthcare).
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
