Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: £32,916-£42,280 per annum
Job Description
The thriving team of Creative & Performing is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic full time Travel and Tourism lecturer to teach primarily on our Level 2 and Level 3 programmes, with the opportunity to teach related subjects across the department.
The successful candidate will join us at a time when involvement in the support and design of the new curricula for 16-18 and adult learning programmes is a key part of the role.
Responsibilities
- Teach Level 2 and Level 3 Travel and Tourism programmes.
- Teach related subjects across the department.
- Support and design new curricula for 16-18 and adult learning programmes.
- Prepare, plan and deliver high quality lessons in an engaging and exciting way.
- Assess NCFE programmes and contribute to quality assurance.
Qualifications
- Experience in teaching and assessing NCFE programmes.
- Experience working in a relevant industry and curriculum design and delivery.
- A teaching qualification (preferably).
- A strong record of teaching and learning practice.
- Evidence of the ability to prepare, plan and deliver high quality lessons.
