Healthcare Assistant – Theatre

Location: Bristol Hospital (Nuffield Health Bristol Hospital – The Chesterfield). Position is a bank, part‑time role that includes weekend work. Pay is up to £14.50 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive experience for patients undergoing major and minor surgeries.
• Provide person‑centred care and support patients as individuals.
• Assist with moving patients, theatre preparation, family reassurance and administrative tasks.
• Play a key role in a fast‑paced theatre environment.
• Work flexibly to support the team.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
• Relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting.
• Strong communication skills and a flexible, motivated attitude.
