£140-£170 per day (Salary is dependent on qualifications and/or experience and will be discussed at registration)

About the role

Vision for Education Sheffield are urgently seeking talented, newly qualified Secondary Supply Teachers to join our flexible workforce across Doncaster, Sheffield, Rotherham and Barnsley.

The Secondary Supply Teacher’s salary is dependent on the nature of the role (day‑to‑day supply or long‑term cover) and is paid to scale. We also offer a guaranteed pay scheme where you are paid even if you do not work.

In this role you will visit a variety of schools and teach different classes. You will deliver planned work, prepare and bring your own resources for the subjects and age groups you are happy to teach, manage behaviour, and adapt to the daily needs of each school.

This position offers flexible supply work that can fit around other commitments, or a long‑term, permanent role, full‑time or part‑time.

Responsibilities

  • Teach classes across a range of schools and age groups.
  • Deliver planned lessons and prepare resources.
  • Manage pupil behaviour effectively.
  • Adapt to different school contexts and teaching support needs.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Good behaviour management skills.
  • Availability 1-5 days per week (Monday to Friday).
  • Relevant teaching experience (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Willingness to undertake a DBS check and enhanced DBS registration.
