The Logistical Admin Support Worker provides logistical underpinning to community nursing teams across primary care networks, supporting and enabling the teams to focus on patient‑facing care. They are a key member of the team who supports the functionality of teams contributing to the provision of high quality care.

Responsibilities

  • Order equipment on the NHS procurement web page.
  • Manage stock levels of dressings and other equipment.
  • Maintain other databases that ensure the team is delivering care safely and effectively.
  • Support the Digital Nurse to manage and provide an effective work space.
  • Visit various locations across Airedale to pick up or deliver documents/equipment.
  • Use e‑technologies to improve ways of working within the team.
  • Participate in the maintenance of effective office systems and identify improvements to enhance individual, team and service performance.
  • Collect information required for statistical analysis and collate information for forwarding to the relevant team.
  • Record and input relevant data onto the computer as directed.
  • Actively maintain data quality, ensuring accurate information is recorded on the patient administration system.
  • Assist in maintaining adequate supplies of stock items within the teams.
  • Ensure the work area is appropriate and fit for purpose, following Trust and departmental policies and procedures, including HR, operating and financial policies.
  • Contribute to the management of service risks and governance.
  • Support project work within the function as identified by the management team.
  • Undertake duties in line with role banding and level of competence, acting as an ambassador for administration services and displaying exemplary role‑model behaviours.
