UTC Plymouth, part of Reach South Academy Trust, is seeking to appoint an exceptional Student Support Worker for Attendance to start in September 2026.

Post: Student Support Worker for Attendance

Location: UTC Plymouth, Park Avenue, Devonport, PL1 4RL

FTE Salary Range: Grade E Pt 15 – 20, £30,024 – £32,597

Actual Annual Salary: £5,343 – £5,801 (Pro Rata)

Contract Type: Permanent, Part Time

Contract Hours: 7.4 hours a week, 39 weeks

This role involves understanding the needs of the students and adopting/developing an appropriate curriculum/intervention in your area. You will need to be able to establish a safe, purposeful and stimulating environment for students, rooted in mutual respect and establish a framework for discipline with a range of strategies, using praise, sanctions and rewards consistently and fairly.
