Responsibilities
As a Small Works Coordinator, you will manage and coordinate external contractors for inspections, compliance testing, and planned maintenance of engineering assets such as high mast lighting, barriers, and overhead gantry cranes. You will plan work orders for remedial work, arrange site visits, and oversee contractors to ensure tasks are completed safely and in compliance. You will also track work orders using scheduling software and collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to align inspection and maintenance efforts.

Requirements
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a technical or trade discipline.
- At least 1 year’s experience in a technical field such as civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering, inspections, or maintenance planning.
- Relevant health & safety certification (IOSH, SMSTS, SSSTS or similar is desirable).
- Strong understanding of risk management and compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, with experience in scheduling tools being advantageous.
