SEN Classroom Support Worker – Daventry

About the role

Justteachers is recruiting an SEN Classroom Support Worker for a specialist school in Daventry. This role starts in September 2026 and runs until December 2026, with the potential to become permanent. You will support pupils with moderate learning difficulties and autism in a highly supportive educational setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist pupils with learning tasks and classroom engagement
• Support communication and social interaction development
• Help maintain a safe and positive learning environment
• Work alongside teachers to deliver tailored interventions
• Provide support during educational visits and enrichment activities

Pre-requisites

• Experience supporting young people with additional needs
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
• Two references within the last two years from a related field
