Health Care Assistant – Pre Assessment
Woodthorpe Hospital in Nottingham is seeking caring, dedicated and motivated Health Care Assistants to join the Pre‑Assessment team. The role involves assisting in the delivery of care across a range of specialities, including orthopaedics, urology, general surgery, bariatrics and gynaecology.
Responsibilities
You will support patients through their pre‑assessment, assist registered nurses, and contact other health care professionals to obtain required information for patients in pre‑assessment. You will maintain a flexible approach to working hours to support round‑the‑clock patient care and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
Qualifications and Experience
- NVQ in Healthcare or working towards it
- Experience of caring for others
- Ability to receive and communicate information accurately and follow instructions from professional colleagues
- Excellent IT and communication skills
