About The Role

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Man to join our residential home team in Birmingham. The successful candidate will ensure the property is safe, well‑maintained, and comfortable for all residents.

Position Details

• Position: Maintenance Man
• Location: Birmingham, UK
• Salary: £15 per hour
• Total work hour: 6 hours per day
• Employment Type: Full-time / Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine repairs and maintenance across the home (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, etc.)
• Conduct regular safety checks and inspections of equipment and facilities
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents
• Maintain outdoor areas, including gardens and pathways
• Liaise with external contractors when specialist work is required
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards

Requirements

• Previous experience in general maintenance or a similar role
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities
• Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner
• Flexibility to respond to urgent maintenance needs
