Our client is looking for a Solution Architect – D365 CRM / Customer Engagement to own the architecture, design and governance of its Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE platform.

You will shape scalable CRM, sales, marketing, service and field engagement capabilities, working across business stakeholders, IT delivery teams, enterprise architecture, Microsoft platform teams and third-party partners.

This role is focused on building a standardised, secure and integrated global CE platform that supports commercial operations and connects effectively with D365 Finance & Operations, Power Platform, Azure and wider enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end D365 CE solution architecture across Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Marketing/Journeys and related Power Platform capabilities.

Define and maintain the global CRM blueprint, architecture principles, design patterns and configuration standards.

Lead fit-gap analysis and prioritise standard D365 CE capability before custom development.

Govern customisations, plugins, workflows, Power Automate flows, Dataverse configuration, security roles and integrations.

Establish CE architecture governance, design review standards and solution approval processes.

Review functional designs, technical designs, integration designs, security models, data migration plans, test strategy and deployment plans.

Guide delivery teams through discovery, design, build, test, deployment, hypercare and transition into BAU support.

Define and govern integration architecture across D365 F&O, Power Platform, Azure Integration Services, Microsoft 365, Fabric/Power BI and operational systems.

Own the CE logical data model and set standards for accounts, contacts, leads, opportunities, cases, service records and custom entities.

Drive ALM, environment and release standards using Azure DevOps, managed/unmanaged solutions, Power Platform pipelines and controlled deployment practices.
