Overview
Creative Support is a not‑for‑profit organisation that provides high quality, person‑centred support to people with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, mental health needs and dementia. We operate four extra care sites across Tameside – Dukinfield, Ashton Under Lyne, Stalybridge and Droylsden. The role is newly created at each site. The focus is to empower individuals, encourage independence, and facilitate community engagement.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support with domestic tasks.
- Assist clients in accessing work, education and social opportunities.
- Support individuals in pursuing hobbies such as sports, outdoor activities, creative arts, music and cooking.
- Work flexible roster including evenings, weekends and sleep‑ins.
- Support the team in delivering Person‑Centred Care plans and promoting independence.
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous care experience with vulnerable adults is essential.
- Demonstrated commitment to values of independence, person‑centred care and community inclusion.
- Gumption, a can‑do attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
- Current DBS or willingness to obtain.
Training & Development
Full training is provided and there is the opportunity to work towards a QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care.
