Position: Social Worker A&C – Duty Team

Our client is seeking an experienced Social Worker A&C to join their Duty Team on a short-term contract basis. This role provides an opportunity to contribute to meaningful social work with support and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Respond to child protection and social care referrals within the duty team framework
• Conduct assessments and investigations to determine safeguarding needs
• Develop and implement effective intervention plans
• Provide support and guidance to children and families in need
• Work collaboratively with multi-agency teams to ensure the best outcomes for children
• Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements
• Attend team meetings and contribute to service improvements
• Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and professionalism

Candidate Skills – Social Worker A&C

• Qualified Social Worker (Social Worker) with relevant registration
• Experience in children and families social work, preferably within a duty team setting
• Strong assessment and investigation skills
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
