SEN Teaching Assistant – Calm Support for SLCN & Autism

Newlands Primary in Southampton is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant for the Seahorses Class, a specialist provision for pupils with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) and autism. Each child has an EHCP and may require support with personal care as part of daily routines.

We value calm, attuned, and relationship-based practice, with experience in autism, SLCN, or complex SEND. The role involves collaboration with the school team to support inclusive education and pupil progress.
