We are looking for a Production Technician to oversee water production sites, reservoirs, and pumping stations, ensuring demand is met without compromising quality.
Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, control, check and maintain water treatment processes at production sites.
- Ensure reliable and efficient operation of production works and associated sites.
- Control and monitor correct use of chemicals, including receipt, delivery and dosage.
- Assist other production team members with confined space entries where 3 or more bodies are required.
- Liaise, supervise and work with contractors while they undertake works on sites.
- Complete all necessary administration for reactive and planned maintenance work.
- Perform general site duties, such as maintaining cleanliness and tidiness.
- Monitor and maintain security of production sites.
- Issue Permits to Work where required.
- Assist with capital works as required.
- Adhere to all Health & Safety legislation, company policies and Production Standard Operating Procedures.
- Take part in a standby rota to provide out‑of‑hours support.
- Employees are required to be flexible and prepared to perform duties and other tasks within their capabilities.
Qualifications – Essential
- Experience of working in process operations.
- Medically able to work in confined spaces.
- Valid driving licence.
- Proficient with IT and computers.
- Good attention to detail.
Qualifications – Desirable
- Experience in water treatment processes.
- Water industry recognised qualifications.

Compensation Package
£35,630.66 – £44,188.21 per annum, plus an average of £1,800 per annum for standby support.
