Production Technician (Process)

We are looking for a Production Technician to oversee water production sites, reservoirs, and pumping stations, ensuring demand is met without compromising quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, control, check and maintain water treatment processes at production sites.
• Ensure reliable and efficient operation of production works and associated sites.
• Control and monitor correct use of chemicals, including receipt, delivery and dosage.
• Assist other production team members with confined space entries where 3 or more bodies are required.
• Liaise, supervise and work with contractors while they undertake works on sites.
• Complete all necessary administration for reactive and planned maintenance work.
• Perform general site duties, such as maintaining cleanliness and tidiness.
• Monitor and maintain security of production sites.
• Issue Permits to Work where required.
• Assist with capital works as required.
• Adhere to all Health & Safety legislation, company policies and Production Standard Operating Procedures.
• Take part in a standby rota to provide out‑of‑hours support.
• Employees are required to be flexible and prepared to perform duties and other tasks within their capabilities.

Qualifications – Essential

• Experience of working in process operations.
• Medically able to work in confined spaces.
• Valid driving licence.
• Proficient with IT and computers.
• Good attention to detail.

Qualifications – Desirable

• Experience in water treatment processes.
• Water industry recognised qualifications.

Compensation Package

£35,630.66 – £44,188.21 per annum, plus an average of £1,800 per annum for standby support.
