QA Technician, QA Technician

We are currently recruiting for a QA Technician to join our Bromborough Technical Team.

Working Hours: 5 days out of 6 days – 0700–1530 Day Shift.

The purpose of the role is to ensure that all products meet integrity and specification requirements.

Your Day-to-day Responsibilities Will Include

• Ensure that one-page specs for products are on the line prior to startup
• Responsible for changing the threshold on metal detectors
• Responsible for conducting fat tests for the Mince line only
• Conducting various pre- and post‑production checks, including gas, average weight, metal detector, finish product, pre‑dispatch and dispatch
• Daily calibration checks of probes
• Responsible for taking lab samples and conducting meat content analysis
• Checking labels for accuracy against specification and product, including conducting double checks
• Conducting Retail pack tare checks on catch weights
• Conducting scale verification
• T2 chart (check scale is running average weight)
• Completing random checks on lines to see if any old scan labels have been left
• Machine Mind including labellers and Sealpac
