A leading software house is currently seeking a SQL Server Developer (SSRS) to join its highly successful and well established global organisation. This role is not a Business Intelligence position; strong reporting skills and the ability to write stored procedures are required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, develop, implement, administer and support the SQL Server 2012/2014 environment across the organisation.
• Develop and maintain key applications for service reporting, client portals and internal systems.
• Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information.
• Write stored procedures and produce reporting solutions in SSRS.
• Occasionally assist with other development tasks, including C# development.

Qualifications

• Experience with SQL Server 2012 or 2014, including clustering, performance tuning, security, replication.
• Strong understanding of SSRS, SSIS and building reports.
• Ability to write and optimise stored procedures.
• Knowledge of C#/.NET, VB.NET, or other .NET-based development is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with Windows Server administration (2003/2008/2012). Not mandatory.

Salary & Benefits

Up to £40,000 per annum plus benefits. Some flexibility on start/finish times. The client is accessible by public transport from most places in the East Midlands – Nottingham, Derby, Chesterfield and Leicester.
