Salary: £47,000 – 65,000 per year
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 1–3 years of experience in IT system engineering or IT administration
- Strong technical foundation in infrastructure and systems administration
- Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and virtualisation technologies such as Hyper‑V or VMware
- Understanding of LAN/WAN, VPNs, Wi‑Fi, firewalls, switches, routing, and cybersecurity best practices
- Experience renewing and refreshing IT hardware in a live environment
- Experience with backup solutions, including version control and recovery
- Ability to collaborate effectively with local and global teams
- Proactive problem‑solving mindset and ability to resolve issues while minimising operational disruption
- Operational Technology environment experience is desirable
Responsibilities
- Support IT operations and infrastructure to ensure system availability, performance, and security
- Assist with infrastructure lifecycle projects and local/global IT initiatives
- Administer user accounts, permissions, and licensing across systems
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures aligned with group standards
- Create and maintain network topology, ensuring secure segmentation and segregation
- Work closely with local teams and central IT/OT stakeholders
- Contribute to ongoing improvements and site transformation projects
