This is a great opportunity to join a national law firm, with a supportive team and quality work.nnFocusing on client and matter take-on, as the firm look to expand a new conflicts function splitting their current generalist compliance team. This is a team with great opportunity for internal progression, as multiple managers in the team have progressed from analyst to manager.nnNow looking for someone to move into a truly technical advisory role.nnThe role?

  • Be the first point of contact for conflict queries from legal teams.
  • nt

  • Provide strategic advice on conflicts of interest, compliance, and reputational risk.
  • nt

  • Investigate and resolve complex conflicts issues on new and existing mandates.
  • nt

  • Support training, documentation, and process improvements across the team.
  • nt

  • Review and analyse conflict reports to identify potential legal or commercial risks.
  • nt

  • Advise on new instructions, changes in scope, and lateral hires in line with firm policies.
  • nt

  • Collaborate with partners and fee earners to resolve conflicts and escalate as necessary.
  • nt

  • Maintain systems such as Intapp and blackbook, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • nt

  • Assist with drafting conflicts-related policies, templates, and internal communications.

  • 4+ years in Legal Compliance, specifically focused in Conflicts
  • nt

  • Strong knowledge of professional conflicts rules (UK wide)
  • nt

  • Practical experience, preventing, managing and identifying Conflicts 
  • nt

  • Analytical and communication sills
  • nt

  • Experience with InTapp
  • n
