Lead Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain stable, secure, and high-performance platform across the organisation.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship, setting new standards in platform excellence.
• Shape the future of Allica Bank’s IT platforms with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with software developers, security experts, and system administrators for seamless integration of network solutions.
• Oversee the deployment and management of Azure resources using Terraform.
• Lead the development and optimisation of Azure DevOps pipelines for infrastructure deployments.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends related to Platform engineering and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in platform engineering and design within Azure Cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, particularly Terraform.
• Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline management.
• Proven leadership experience in leading teams and managing projects.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex platform/infrastructure issues.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
