Senior Cloud Engineer

We’re recruiting for a Senior Cloud Engineer to join a public sector organisation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced cloud professional with public sector experience to help design, deliver and optimise secure, high-performing cloud infrastructure, support business applications, and improve availability, resilience and user experience across critical services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead on cloud infrastructure design, delivery and optimisation.
• Support operating systems, business applications and cloud services.
• Improve availability, capacity, monitoring and incident management.
• Work across systems integration, automation and continuous improvement.
• Embed security, resilience and best practice throughout all services.

What we’re looking for

• Strong cloud engineering or infrastructure experience.
• Public sector experience is essential.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure and modern cloud technologies.
• Experience with automation, scripting, CI/CD and infrastructure as code.
• A solid understanding of security, service support and operational resilience.
