Position: Maintenance HandypersonLocation: LiverpoolType: PermanentSalary: £35,000 PAShift: 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 12‑hour shifts between 7:00am and 10:00pm (rotating shift times)Holiday: 25 days plus statutoryCall Out: 1 in 6 rota / £150 standby payment – Company van provided whilst on callParking: Free on‑site parking

We are recruiting for a maintenance operative / handyperson to work on a prestigious facility in the Liverpool area completing general fabric maintenance and compliance checks as part of a resident maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs)
• Reactive fabric maintenance
• Fire door inspections
• Water sampling and water flushing
• General decorating and making good
• Porter duties (moving furniture and equipment)
• Creating and removing decking for seasonal events
• Overseeing subcontractors
• General building fabric repairs across the estate

Qualifications

• Previous experience within Facilities Management or Building Maintenance (Joinery, Plumbing, Painting/Decorating)
• Strong all‑round fabric maintenance skills
• Experience carrying out PPMs and reactive maintenance
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
