Veterinary Surgeon

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly and highly skilled team in a Dorset 24‑hour Hospital. The practice offers the ideal balance of a busy hospital environment with lifestyle benefits of the surrounding countryside and coastline.

Position details:

• Scope: routine consultations, medical and surgical case management, inpatient care.
• Opportunity to work alongside experienced colleagues on more complex cases.
• Full‑time (average 39 hours per week) with a shared 1 in 6 weekend rota.
• Part‑time applications welcomed.
• Work environment: two dedicated surgical theatres, an in‑house laboratory, hydrotherapy, physiotherapy support, isolation facilities, separate dog and cat wards, and 24‑hour inpatient care.

Qualifications and experience required:

• Substantial veterinary experience (couple or years).
• Strong surgical skills.
• Solid foundation in first‑opinion practice.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional client service and high standards of clinical care.
• Strong communication skills, team focus, enthusiasm for comprehensive patient care.
