Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Open or close the building at the beginning or end of shift
  • Manage and coordinate warehouse staff during assigned shifts
  • Ensure efficient picking, stacking, lines and loading of products
  • Monitor daily operations to meet productivity and performance targets
  • Enforce health, safe and legal regulations and company policies
  • Manage shift schedules, attendance, and staff performance
  • Train, coach, and develop team members
  • Resolve operational issues and escalating where necessary
  • Coordinate with other departments such as Telesales, Sale Accounts, and Buying Team
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment
  • Route planning and load plans considering vehicles off road
  • Maintain order accuracy and availability fulfilment %
  • Achieve pick rate performance per shift
  • Ensure on‑time delivery
  • Maintain health & safety compliance
  • Manage staff turnover and engagement
  • Ensure training compliance
  • Shift‑based schedule (Morning, late, or Saturday shifts when required)

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in warehouse operations or logistics (typically 2+ years)
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Good understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Ability to work flexible shifts (including early/late & Saturdays if required)
