Senior Frontend Software Engineer Responsibilities

• Serve as a Senior Frontend Software Engineer within cross-functional feature teams for the Data Marketplace.
• Deliver accessible, high-quality, and well-tested user interfaces on a cloud-native platform (Google Cloud Platform).
• Take technical ownership of frontend delivery and contribute to the team’s technical direction.
• Support, coach, and mentor other engineers within the team.
• Focus on building scalable, testable UIs using React and TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Apply a test-first mindset (TDD) and write automated tests using JestJS and modern frontend testing practices.
• Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG) using tools such as axe-core.
• (Desirable) Contribute to backend development using Java/Quarkus, work with REST APIs and PostgreSQL.
• (Desirable) Leverage DevOps practices: CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and Kubernetes.
• Operate at a senior level by providing technical leadership, mentoring peers, and influencing architectural decisions.
