Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer – Weekend Shift

We are working exclusively with a well-established manufacturing organisation to appoint a Multi-Skilled Engineer for a permanent position at a highly automated production site in the Newcastle area. This is a hands‑on engineering role supporting production lines and associated equipment with a strong focus on electrical and mechanical fault finding reliability improvement and safety.

What we’re looking for

• Mechanical bias preferred (welding, turning, fabrication experience)
• Manufacturing or industrial background
• Confident fault finding and repair capability
• Engineering qualification essential

Shift Pattern

• Saturday | 12 hour day shift (6am‑6pm)
• Sunday | 12 hour day shift (6am‑6pm)
• 1 other day during the week (to be confirmed)
• 1 other 6 hour shift per month (to cover the remaining contracted hours)
