Overview
- Escalation for critical, high severity network incidents.
- Analytics and forensics for major incidents.
- Delivery of management platforms and new toolsets for the Support organisation.
- Drive process improvements within the wider Enterprise Networking organisation.
- Contribute to infrastructure project deliverables and work with business customers.
- Mentor Support engineers and contribute to career development.
- Collaborate with Support, Automation, Design/Delivery, Security and other infrastructure teams to ensure aligned end‑to‑end supportability.
Requirements
- Qualified to Cisco CCNP level or equivalent
- Extensive experience of working in a Support and Operations environment
- Proven experience of delivering and running network management platforms (e.g. Netbrain, Solarwinds, Cisco DNA Center etc.)
- Experience with automation frameworks (Scripting, Python, Ansible, REST APIs)
- Extensive knowledge of all Enterprise networking technologies including Firewalls (Palo Alto / Cisco ASA), Load Balancers (F5), Switching and Routing Fabrics (EVPN/ACI/IOS-XE)
