Your Role
Our Enterprise Data & Analytics capability brings together experts in enterprise data strategy, modern data platforms, analytics, AI and information management. We help organisations harness data and AI to transform operations, improve decision‑making and deliver measurable business outcomes.
As a Director, you’ll play a leading role in growing our Enterprise Data & Analytics business across the Energy & Utilities sector, with responsibility for originating and securing consulting opportunities in excess of £2m per annum. You’ll combine commercial leadership, client delivery and people leadership to build trusted client relationships, win strategic programmes and grow our capability.
Alongside client work, you’ll help shape the direction of our practice by developing new propositions, strengthening our market profile and building the next generation of Enterprise Data & Analytics consultants.
Key Responsibilities
- Originate and grow Enterprise Data & Analytics opportunities through strategic account development, new client relationships and major pursuits.
- Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and become a recognised advisor on enterprise data and AI transformation.
- Lead complex transformation programmes, from strategy through to implementation.
- Help clients realise measurable business value through enterprise data, analytics and AI.
- Develop new propositions that respond to evolving client needs and strengthen our market position through thought leadership.
- Identify emerging trends in data and AI, translating them into new client offerings and market opportunities.
- Work across Capgemini Invent and the wider Capgemini Group to bring together multidisciplinary teams that solve complex client challenges.
- Coach, mentor and develop consultants, building a collaborative, inclusive and high‑performing capability.
Your Skills and Experience
You’ll be an established leader in Enterprise Data & Analytics, with experience gained in consulting or a combination of industry and consulting. You’ll have a track record of helping organisations use data and AI to solve complex business challenges, while building lasting client relationships and growing consulting opportunities.
You’ll bring experience in many of the following areas:
- Enterprise Data & AI strategy and transformation
- Modern data platforms and data foundations
- Data management, governance and information architecture
- Advanced analytics, AI and Generative AI
- Intelligent operations and operational analytics
- Data‑led business transformation
You’ll also demonstrate:
- Experience working with organisations across Energy & Utilities or other asset‑intensive industries.
- The ability to build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and develop strategic accounts.
- A strong track record of originating, shaping and delivering complex consulting engagements.
- Experience developing propositions and bringing together multidisciplinary teams to solve client challenges.
- A collaborative leadership style, with a passion for developing people and growing high‑performing teams.
