We are looking for a proactive technical leader with a robust engineering foundation to drive our platform forward. As a Senior Engineer, you will bring deep expertise in system architecture from day one, guiding the team and shaping the technical vision required to build the high‑volume POS and menu integrations that keep global brands running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Build, scale, and lead high‑throughput microservices and complex features in Go.
- Architect, develop, and maintain robust, scalable solutions and shape the wider integration architecture.
- Lead the design and implementation of highly scalable, event‑driven systems, managing eventual consistency and distributed architecture challenges.
- Define observability standards, lead weekly signal channel reviews, identify and resolve production anomalies before they impact partners.
- Elevate engineering standards by mentoring mid‑level and junior engineers, leading collaborative debugging sessions, and driving best practices across the team.
- Collaborate with product and delivery teams to ensure smooth roll‑out of integrations across international markets.
Qualifications
- Substantial commercial experience (5+ years) writing clean, highly efficient, and testable Go code.
- Deep expertise in architecting microservices and event‑driven systems with mastery of distributed architecture and eventual consistency.
- Strong SRE mindset: focus on system reliability, production services improvement, and incident response.
- Advanced hands‑on experience designing and deploying scalable systems on Amazon Web Services, including DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, and S3.
- Comfortable leveraging AI coding assistants and LLMs to accelerate workflow, architect scaffolding, and debug complex, distributed issues.
