HGV Class 2 Driver – Full Time Permanent Position

Location: Southampton, UK

Salary: £32,240 per annum – overtime pay up to £31.00 per hour

Working Hours: Full Time: Monday – Friday (Guaranteed 40 hours a week) – Overtime and weekend work available.

My client is looking for an experienced Class 2 Driver to join their team based in Southampton.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive and operate Class 2 vehicles
• Operate LGV Class vehicles on call-outs and prearranged jobs across Hampshire, Dorset and West Sussex.
• Loading and Unloading vehicles.
• Complete all administration, paperwork and logbooks accurately and on time.
• Engage with customers when on site, being friendly and offering great service.

Requirements

• Driver’s CPC and 2 years’ experience.
• Cat 2 Licence.
• Tacho Card.
• No more than 3 penalty points on licence.
• Previous experience working for a Waste Management or Skip hire company is desirable.
