What’s involved?

• Operating a variety of tanker units and performing cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of drains.
• Operating high‑pressure water jetting equipment in line with rigorous safety standards.
• Providing excellent customer service and technical expertise.
• Accurately recording work details through internal and client systems.
• Communicating effectively with commercial and domestic clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues.

What do we look for?

Suitable candidates will display a strong working attitude and skills in the clearance, cleaning and repair of drainage systems.

• Experience in tanker jetting is essential.
• Clean HGV licence.
• Confined space experience preferable.
• High‑pressure water jetting experience.
• Positive, flexible, can‑do attitude and willingness to work additional hours as needed.
• Willingness to work occasional or unsociable hours.
• Full UK driving licence.

Candidates are asked to consider their home location as the tankers are garaged at Wigan and you will need to consider any travel to and from this site in your decision.
