Overview

Security Project Engineer – Vehicle or Foot Mobile, Central London

We are seeking a Security Project Engineer to cover service, installation and commissioning works across London.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission security systems including access control, CCTV and related electronic security equipment.
• Work with systems such as TDSi, Paxton NET2 & 10, STID, Axis and Hikvision CCTV.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive service visits, fault finding and remedial works.
• Complete installation and commissioning documentation accurately and hand over systems to clients.
• Demonstrate a good understanding of IP networks, network infrastructure, IP addressing, subnets and VLANs.
• Liaise professionally with clients, site teams and IT departments to coordinate successful service, installation and commissioning works.
• Read and interpret site drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Maintain excellent communication, professionalism, time management and organisational standards while working across multiple sites.
• Establish a clear track record within security installation and commissioning.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in security installation or a related field.
• Relevant qualifications related to security engineering or a related discipline.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary: £37,000 – £44,000
• Performance bonus
