Overview
The AVEVA Finance Apprenticeship is an exciting opportunity to join AVEVA as an apprentice within our Finance function. The apprentice will gain a wide range of hands‑on experience via regular rotations in areas such as Procure to Pay, Record to Report, and Commercial Operations.
The apprentice will also study towards the Finance Data Analyst Level 3 Qualification with optional AAT Level 3 papers. Approximately 6 of the weekly hours will be dedicated to studying.
Support will be provided by a dedicated career manager, rotation manager, and apprenticeship programme director.
Key Responsibilities
During the apprenticeship the main duties will vary with each rotation. Each apprentice will complete a minimum of four six‑month rotations. Over 24 months the apprentice will gain experience in:
- Fundamentals of standardised finance processes including Procure to Pay, Invoice to Cash, Record to Report etc.
- Knowledge of finance systems such as Oracle Fusion ERP and general business systems such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Understanding of compliance, controls and related processes in a global software company.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- A good understanding of MS Office, in particular Excel, Word and Outlook.
- A keen interest in beginning a career in finance.
- Minimum GCSE qualifications of a 4 in both English and Maths.
- Eager to learn and develop financial education with a Finance Data qualification.
- Positive, enthusiastic and a great team player.

Hybrid Working
The role requires being on site 50% of working hours for collaboration and connection. The working arrangement will be confirmed during the hiring process.
