Role Overview
As part of the production team, you will assemble high‑precision mechanical products to exact specifications. This is a hands‑on role requiring accuracy, attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Mechanical assembly of precision components and sub‑assemblies.
- Using hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment.
- Working from engineering drawings, assembly instructions and technical documentation.
- Measuring and checking components to ensure they meet required dimensions and tolerances.
- Inspecting finished products to company quality standards.
- Maintaining a safe, organised and efficient work area.
- Reporting any quality, tooling or equipment issues.
- Supporting production targets while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
Qualifications
- Experience within manufacturing, engineering, production, assembly or mechanical environments.
- Good mechanical aptitude and confidence using hand tools.
- Ability to read measurements and work accurately to dimensions and tolerances.
- Experience following technical instructions, engineering drawings or assembly procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
