You will be vital to our team who provide support to adults with a learning disability within our day service in Crowborough. Your work will have a real and positive impact on the lives of the people who attend the service and in return we can offer you a rewarding and fulfilling career.

As a Support Worker, you will support people with timetabled activities to promote friendships, teach independence skills and involve people in their local community. You will provide practical assistance to clients by helping them make friends and develop social networks, support when eating, maintain a standard of personal hygiene and provide emotional support to promote client health and mental wellbeing.

The full‑time salary for this role is 25,989 to 26,403 per annum (~13.50 to 13.72 per hour). This role is for 37 hours per week, working Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays (the service is closed on Wednesdays). Working days include two long days of 8:30 am to 7 pm and two standard days (either 8:30 am to 4 pm or 11:30 am to 7 pm) on a rota basis.

We Are Looking For Candidates Who

  • Can converse and are at ease with clients and their advocates.
  • Can work effectively, both within the team and independently.
  • Will support with personal care, medication administration, and other health‑related tasks.
  • Has an RQF Level 1 in Maths and English or the ability to pass assessment as part of the selection process.

This role is eligible for the ESCC Refer a Friend scheme.
